Our Dance Teams

FAA Tinikling

Tinikling is a traditional Philippine folk dance that originated during the Spanish colonial era where people beat, slide, and tap bamboo poles on the ground in coordination with the dancers. The name and movements of this dance are inspired by tikling birds. FAA Tinikling mixes both traditional and modern songs in our dances.

FAA Modern

Modern hip-hop has evolved into being a large part of contemporary Filipino culture. FAA Modern is a way for members to connect with their Filipino culture in a modern context.
